What we've been up to lately..
It’s been another busy few weeks here at HD Drone Photography, with projects taking us right across Cornwall - from grand period homes and coastal retreats to local pubs and holiday villas.
In Redruth, we had the chance to photograph Penvearn - a striking ten-bedroom period residence on West Trewirgie Road. This shoot was extra special as it included both drone and internal photography, giving us the chance to capture the property’s scale and elegance from every angle.
Over in Devoran, we photographed a fabulous waterside residence with 60 feet of direct creek frontage, private slipway, and pontoon. After nearly two weeks of wet weather, timing the shoot with the perfect tide and clear skies made this one both a challenge and a joy to complete - the results truly showcase Cornwall’s waterfront living at its best.
In Polscoe, Fowey, our aerials highlighted a spacious property with a substantial garden, parking for over 10 cars, and a location just a mile from the Fowey Estuary. The drone’s perspective really showed off its size, layout, and idyllic position in the Cornish countryside.
We also completed an exciting digital project for Le Dorney Villas Cornwall, creating a brand-new website alongside internal, external, and aerial photography. With custom pricing tools, fresh content, and imagery to match, the site reflects the authentic charm of their holiday lets - while showcasing the villas’ proximity to Par Beach, the South West Coast Path, and nearby attractions.
On top of that, we’ve been filming at two much-loved Cornish pubs - The Falcon Inn, St. Mawgan and The Cornish Arms, Constantine - where we produced a mix of aerial and video footage to capture the welcoming atmosphere and scenic surroundings.
